VIRUS IN COMPUTER ?REMOVE VIRUS ! PROTECT YOUR DATA

VIRUS IN COMPUTER !!!!!!!!!
Has virus come to your computer and is destroying your data ?
Then what can you do ?

One thing that you should remember is that most of the data is now damaged and you can't restore that as well, but some data can be saved depending on the your reaction you take for solving the Here are some of the simple steps that you can do

to minimise the effect of virus. Following steps can be taken to protect your files :

1.Firstly, uninstall the antivirus.
Actually the antivirus is more responsible for damaging your computer rather then virus because it deletes all your .exe files immediately after it discovers any virus.
2.Now look for all your important files and folders which you want to protect.
3.Compress these files and folders.For example:create there rar files.
4.Now you have 2 copies of each file and folder(one is folder and other is its rar file).
5.now install a good antivirus.
6.Update it via internet.
7.Then scan your pc.
8.One thing you should remember is that you should uncheck the 'Scan Archive files' Tab to keep your important files saved.
9.The antivirus will now scan and and clean your computer.
In case the anti virus blocks or deletes your .exe files from your Windows folder,then you are in trouble, because the next time you start your computer,then it will show a blank screen.
Then you will have to install a new copy of windows.
If you don't have a copy of windows and don't want to delete your program files,Games and .exe file from your pc then its solution is to simply uninstall the antivirus.
You can then enjoy playing all your games but you then keep in mind that the data in your pc should not be transfered to another place ie. don't cop paste any data from a pen drive or cd.

Foxit Reader ocx.ocx failed

Foxit Reader ocx.ocx failed

You get this error when you have Foxit reader insatlled in your pc/laptop. When you try to open any pdf file in Mozilla Firefox 'Foxit Reader ocx.ocx failed' window appears.

SOLUTION:

1. Open Foxit Reader.

2.Go to Help & go to Check for updates Now.

3.It will take a few seconds to check.

4.Select Firefox Plugin from the list and click on Add.

5. Click on install and the plugin will be installed in a few seconds.

6. Now you will be able to open pdf files within your browser.

GOOGLE CHROME ERROR-The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000022)

Below are the steps to solve this problem:

1.Go to desktop.

2.right click on the Shortcut of google chrome.

3.In the shotcut menu,click on the target tab.

4.You will see the address in the target tab something like this:

C:\Users\Sam\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe

5.Now,you just have to add --no-sandbox after .exe and your problem is solved.

6.This is how you have to add --no-sandbox to the target tab:

C:\Users\Sam\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe --no-sandbox

7.Click on OK and now Google Chrome will work properly.

VLC PLAYER- NO SOUND

NO SOUND IN VLC PLAYER

Problem-While playing .3gp,mp4 videos, no sound is heard even when the speakers are on.

SOLUTION-

1. Check for the system volume and confirm that it is not muted.

2. If the video you are playing is of very low quality or if it is a mobile video, then VLC player plays the video with no sound.

3. You must download high resolution videos for your PC/Laptop and the sound will be played automatically.

REMOVE UBUNTU,WINDOWS XP OR WINDOWS 7 FROM WINDOWS 7 BOOT MENU

Are you using Windows 7 and want to delete Ubuntu. In just a few simple steps you can do that.

If you want to delete the ubuntu from this menu,then simply follow these steps:

1.Open the command prompt window by pressing Window+R

2.Following window will appear

3.Type cmd in this box
4. A new window will appear:

5.Type bcdedit and press enter.

6.Some thing like this will appear :

7. Now i want to delete the last entry.

8. Right click on the empty space and select mark.

9.Using left arrow of the mouse copy the text written after identifier like this:

10.Now press enter.

11.Write >bcdedit /delete in the command prompt,leave a space.>

Then again right click >paste

12. After the text is pasted it will look like this:

13.Press enter and you have successfully deleted ubuntu from your system.

DISABLE PEN DRIVE

Want to hide pen drive from your friends when they use it on your pc.
Now it is possible-When your friends inserts the pen drive on ur computer,it is not detected.
Curious to know how ??Following are the steps to disable the pen drive from the computer:

1.Click Start, and then click Run or press Win+R.
2. A box will appear.
3.In the box, type regedit
4. Click OK.
3. Locate, and then click the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\UsbStor
4. In the right pane, double-click Start.
5. In the Value data box, type 4, click Hexadecimal (if it is not already selected), and then click OK.
6. Quit Registry Editor.

COULD NOT LAUNCH ACROBAT | FIX COMPUTER

SOLUTION NO.1
Go in Acrobat -> Edit -> Preferences -> Internet -> Uncheck the three boxes under the Web Browser Options box .

SOLUTION NO.2
1. In Acrobat Reader, choose Edit > Preferences.
2. Select Internet.
3. Deselect Display PDF In Browser, and then click OK.
4. Choose Edit > Preferences > Internet, select Display PDF In Browser, and then click OK.

Download a acrobat plugin from firefox.

4. Select all the check boxes and click on delete.

5.After the data is deleted, click on OK.

6. Restart Internet explorer and open the Blogger.

UNINSTALL FACEBOOK CHAT DISABLER GOOGLE CHROME

Problem : I have installed the facebook chat disabler and i want to make my facebook chat new again... how can i uninstall the fb chat disabler ?

Solution :
To get your new chat back, you need to un install the facebook disabler from your browser.For example if you are using Google Chrome:

1. Click on the wrench button on the top right .

2. Click on settings.

3. Go to Extensions.

NO SIGNAL-Monitor Going to sleep

Problem- When you switch on your computer and press the power button of the CPU, the monitor displays a message 'No Signal' or 'No Input Detected' and after few seconds it goes to sleep.

Solution - This problem is very common and can be solved by the user only.

1. Check the input signal cable of the monitor whether it is properly attached or not.

2. If it is not, then attach it properly.

3. If the problem still persists, then remove the cable both from the cpu and monitor and attach it again.

More than 50 % users are able to solve the problem at step 3.

4. The users who can't get their monitors working even after trying step 3, need to do something extra.

5. Switch off the PC and open the cover of the CPU (only if you have experience),

6. Take out the RAM from it carefully,clean it properly, remove all the dust from the CPU and then assemble it again.

Switch on the computer again and the monitor must be working now.

Solution :Follow these steps to delete/remove history from google chrome :
1. Click on the wrench button on the top right of Google Chrome.

3. A new tab will open showing Google Chrome History :

4. Now click on Clear all browsing data...
